Venus Glow™ Deep Cleaning Facial

The Venus Glow™ Facial uses 3 modalities which work together to achieve superior pore cleansing and facial renewal by removing impurities from the skin which can block pores and cause blackheads and whiteheads. Each of these modalities serve an important function to loosen dirt and debris, open and clean pores, and treat a variety of common skin concerns.

This sophisticated hydrofacial procedure uses fine jet streams and a rotating vacuum head with adjustable protocols to meet your specific needs. Andrea uses a Lactic Acid skin preparation, followed by your choice of Glow Serum with vitamin C, Aloe, Stem Cell extracts, or Telangyn peptides, and a Hyaluronic Acid Mask to complete your procedure. After this relaxing session, your skin will immediately feel refreshed, renewed, and glowing.

Chemical Peels

Andrea uses AlumierMD’s Chemical Peel technology to reduce wrinkles and smooth the skin. Professionally administered Chemical Peels work by carefully applying a chemical solution to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. Chemical peels also improves skin texture and tone while lessoning the appearance of fine wrinkles. The results are subtle but increase with repeated treatments.

AC Dual Light Technology

Andrea uses AC Dual Light Technology to treat Acne. Blue light is used to target bacteria while red light promotes healing and decreases inflammation. Combine AC Dual Technology with a regular skin care schedule, such as AlumierMD acne package, to improve your complexion.

Laser Hair Removal

Andrea uses cutting edge technology to provide a safe, fast, and comfortable hair removal experience. Laser IPL hair removal treats the follicle during its different growth phases to minimize the return of unwanted hair. 6-8 sessions provide a 70-90% permanent reduction of hair in the treatment area. Packages are available.

Photofacial

Andrea targets unsightly vascular lesions and pigmentation changes with IPL Photofacial technology. IPL delivers light deep into the skin, which generates heat when absorbed by unwanted pigments and vascular lesions. Pigments fade away allowing the skin to look clearer and more toned. Sessions typically last 40 minutes.

Skin Resurfacing

Skin Resurfacing with the Venus Viva device reduces wrinkles, signs of skin damage, and improve the appearance of uneven skin texture, no matter how light or dark your skin tone. You will notice a naturally smoother, more radiant-looking complexion that lasts. The Venus Viva device first uses NanoFractional technology to deliver targeted energy to deeper skin layers by creating very small micro-dermal channels. The surrounding healthy tissue helps to heal these micropores, improving skin texture with minimal downtime.

Next, multipolar Radio Frequency (RF) Technology is conducted through the skin, creating heat, and causing collagen to contract. Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF) creates new collagen and elastin fibers. When NonoFractional and RF are combined, wrinkles are reduced, and skin appears firmer and smother. Skin resurfacing is accomplished with 3-4 treatments every 4-6 weeks, while wrinkle reduction is best accomplished with weekly treatments for 6-8 weeks.

Dermal Fillers

Dr Krushel uses Hyaluronic Acid (HLA) Dermal Fillers. Dermal Fillers are injectable gels made from Hyaluronic Acid (HLA), a naturally occurring skin molecule that has a unique capacity to absorb water molecules. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can restore volume to the skin, smooth wrinkles, soften skin folds, and restore volume and structure to areas of the face, such as the cheeks, lips, and jaw. Dr. Krushel typically use the Revanesse and Restylane dermal fillers, for their safety and reliability.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a type of dermal filler that provides instant volume for immediate lifting and contouring effect, as well as providing a longer-term effect by stimulating the skin to produce its own natural collagen.

Dr. Krushel performs a pan facial Radiesse procedure that provides instant volume for an immediate but subtle lifting and contouring effect. However, the true value is realized over the following months subsequent as the microscopic calcium hydroxyapatite crystals in Radiesse “bio-stimulate” the skin, causing your body to produce its own natural collagen and elastin. It is particularly useful for fine lines and saggy skin, and effects can last several years.

Belkyra

A Belkyra or Deoxycholic acid treatment is a nonsurgical injection technique that is used to decrease the amount of excess fat, most commonly use underneath the chin for submental fat deposits. Generally, the beneficial effects of Belkyra and DCCA can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. However, it is important to note that if you don’t maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper diet and exercise, fat reduction could be lost.

Therapeutic Botox

Dr Krushel works with Calgary’s Alberta Neurologic Centre to provide Therapeutic Migraine Botox and Cranial Nerve Blocks treatment to patients throughout Southern Alberta, Southeastern B.C., and the Northwest Territories. He also administers Botox for Bruxism (excessive nocturnal grinding or clenching of teeth) and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of underarms and other areas). Similar to Botox use for fine lines and wrinkles of the face, the benefits of Therapeutic Botox typically begin to take effect in 5 to 10 days. Chronic migraine headaches are typically treated every 3 months while Bruxism and hyperhidrosis may only require treatments every 6 months.
